REVELATION PRAYER: THE SEVEN TRUMPETS

NAME THE FEAR OR STRONGHOLD:  Take notice of your thoughts or thought patterns and try to name the fear behind them, be specific. Ask the Lord. Try prayers that use the imagination like: Ignatian, Theophostic, Immanuel, words of knowledge, soaking prayer.

Ways to identify emotional, physical, spiritual strongholds

Emotional words like: depression, anxiety, fears, anger, disease, trauma, pain, oppression, justification, death of a loved one, unforgiveness, lack of trust in God, pride, guilt, shame, bitterness, resentment, self-hate, self-pity, self–righteousness, envy, rejection, abandonment, occult, etc.

Identify the root, and the lies and vows behind it.

TAKE IT TO THE CROSS: Tell the Lord that you have allowed this fear or stronghold into your life and confess it. Tell Jesus that you are sorry and ask for forgiveness; you may also need to forgive yourself, others, God, etc.

Meditation on the cross (Salvific Love Prayer)

Take it to the Cross.

Have Jesus tell you what wound He has already suffered for your infliction.

Leave it there in the wound and thank Jesus for taking care of it.

Ask Jesus where in your heart you need to forgive (yourself, others, God)

Step through the Cross, through the veil that was torn for us on Good Friday and into the throne room to walk in relationship with Him.

Surrender and listen to the Lord in his Shalom.

RELEASE THE STRONGHOLD

CURSE AGAINST IT AND CUT IT OFF: Renounce the claim of infirmities and how it manifests on your body.

CANCEL SATAN’S AUTHORITY: Through agreement with this infirmity you have also allowed Satan’s stronghold. Renounce this through the peace of Jesus and allow him to be the gatekeeper of your heart.

INVITE JESUS TO TAKE AUTHORITY IN THIS AREA:  Again, name the fear or stronghold and invite Jesus to take authority over this area (be specific, physical, emotional, spiritual). Release the “Sword in the Spirit” the Word of God.

INVITE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FILL THIS AREA: The Holy Spirit will speak truth and help heal this area but will never go against your will. Pray homeostasis into the body. Seal it with the blood of Jesus!

LISTEN TO THE LORD: Ask the Lord to speak his words of truth.

Sample Prayer

Heavenly Father, I confess that I have allowed (name the fear or stronghold) in my life. I repent and choose to forgive myself, for allowing this (name the fear or stronghold) in my life and release myself from this fear. In the name of Jesus who is both human and divine and by the power of His blood, I cancel all of Satan’s authority in me in this area of (name the fear or stronghold). Satan get out!  In the name of Jesus I command this (name the fear or stronghold) to go. I invite Jesus to take authority in this area (name the fear stronghold). Holy Spirit, I invite you into my heart to heal this area of fear, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Set me free! Father, speak your words of truth to me about this situation (listen to the Lord). Lord fill that void with your love and seal it with the blood of Jesus.
